a: First Method of WeChat Login on PC – WeChat Web

This first method will allow you to complete WeChat online Login on the WeChat Web without installing the Wechat app on your computer.

1: On you computer, go to https://web.wechat.com/ . A large QR Code will appear on the screen and ask you to Scan to log in to WeChat. Not to worry at all. That is why we told you to have your phone handy.

2: Next Open the WeChat app on your mobile phone or Tablet. iPad or Android. Sign in to WeChat now if you’re not already signed in.

3: Tap on the + at the top-right corner of WeChat mobile app homepage.

4: From the drop-down menu, tap on Scan QR Code.

5: Now bring your mobile device close to your computer and Scan the QR code on the screen with your mobile device. Once the WeChat mobile app’s QR scanner captures the code, your profile photo will appear on the computer screen.

6: The Log in option will appear on your screen and ask you to log in or Cancel. Tap on Log In on your mobile device. The WeChat home screen will appear in your web browser.

That completes the Wechat for PC login via  Web WeChat.

⇒ As long as you are logged in on your computer, WeChat mobile notifications will be disabled.

⇒ To sign out of WeChat on your computer, click on the menu bar ☰ at the top of the left column, then select Log Out from the drop-down.

b: Second Method of WeChat Login on PC – Wechat PC App

The second method of weChat login on PC will need you to download WeChat App for PC. You will still need your mobile phone or tablet to complete this process.

1: Go to http://www.wechat.com/en/ to download WeChat app for PC. If you are using Windows PC.

2: Click on the Windows icon to Download WeChat for Windows or Click on the Mac icon to download WeChat for Mac. Below the wechat apps for Mobile, you will see the three icons. The Windows icon is the first from left, Mac icon is second and the third icon is for WeChat Web.

3: Click on Download in the next page. The WeChat download button for PC is the green button near the left side of the screen.

4: Choose a folder and click Save to download the WeChat installer to the folder you have chosen.

5: When the WeChat Installer download is complete, open the WeChat installer from the folder where you saved it or link in your browser’s download. Double-click on the WeChat installer to run the WeChat app.

6: Your Computer will ask for your permission. Click “Yes” to give WeChat permission to install.

7: Next, click on Install WeChat for PC. When WeChat installation is finished, you will see a confirmation message and a green button requesting to run the WeChat app.

8: Click on “Run”. Again, a QR code will appear on your screen with the message “Log in using Scan QR Code”.

9: Open the WeChat app on your mobile device. Log in to WeChat on your Mobile before you go ahead.

10: Tap on the + at the top-right corner of WeChat mobile app homepage.

11: From the drop-down menu, tap on “Scan QR Code.”

12: Scan the QR code with your mobile device. Once the WeChat mobile app’s QR scanner captures the code, your profile photo will appear on the computer screen.

13: Finally, tap on “Enter” on your mobile device to complete WeChat login. A welcome message will appear on your computer screen and also on your WeChat home screen.

PLEASE NOTE:

⇒ As long as you are logged in on your computer, WeChat mobile notifications will be disabled.

⇒ To sign out of WeChat on your computer, click on the menu bar ☰ at the top of the left column, then select Log Out from the drop-down.

⇒ To Log in WeChat on PC in the future, just click WeChat in the Windows menu and you are home and dry.
